ALICE NO PAIS DAS MARAVILHAS.2010 - FANTASIA CONTINUAÇÃO DO FILME DE 1951.

Filme de Tim Burton, com Johnny Depp, Alice no País das Maravilhas não é uma adaptação estrita do amado romance de Lewis Carroll de 1865. Rather, it's something like a post-modern tale of self-discovery, although it works better as a nutty fantasy than as anything with a point. Pelo contrário, é algo como um pós-moderno conto de auto-descoberta, embora ele funcione melhor como uma fantasia louca que como qualquer coisa com um ponto. Burton põe uma rotação exclusivamente matriarcal em histórias de Carroll, mantendo os mais fortes personagens femininos e dispensar com praticamente todos os personagens poderosos do sexo masculino. Thus, all of the males in the story are either mad (the Hatter), bumbling (Tweedledee and Tweedledum), or in the service of a powerful female (as we see with Crispin Glover's creepy, but ultimately subservient Knave of Hearts). Meanwhile, Alice finds herself caught in the crossfire between two sisters, the Red Queen (Bonham Carter) and the White Queen (Anne Hathaway), both of whom are troubling female archetypes: the Red Queen, with her oddly bulbous head and court of nattering servants, is a shrill monarch who demands decapitation (read: castration, since virtually all of her victims are men) for even the slightest indiscretion (Bonham Carter is particularly adept at screeching “Off with his head!”), while the White Queen is all airy grace with no real grounding (she is constantly posing, even when running, and has committed herself to a life of absolute nonviolence).  Any and all powerful male characters, including Alice's father and the King of Hearts, are dead.Unlike Disney's classic animated film, most of Burton's Alice features a young adult heroine (played by Mia Wasikowska), even though the story opens 13 years earlier when the child Alice first encounters or fantasizes about “Underland.” The older Alice, living in Victorian England, is about to be engaged to a young man about whom she does not care.Ao contrário do clássico filme de animação da Disney, a maioria da Alice de Tim Burton apresenta uma heroína adulta, com 19 anos, (interpretada por Mia Wasikowska), mesmo que a história começa 13 anos antes, quando a criança Alice no eu primeiro encontro ou fantasia sobre "Wonderland." Distracted by a large rabbit at an outdoor surprise party, Alice runs after the critter, tracks it to a large hole in the ground, and promptly falls in. She then arrives in Wonderland, aka Underland, encountering adventures familiar to most viewers. Distraído por um coelho em uma grande festa surpresa ao ar livre, Alice acompanha o coelho para um grande buraco no chão, e rapidamente cai dentro. Ela então chega ao País das Maravilhas, encontrando aventuras familiares para a maioria dos espectadores. There are the potions she drinks for both shrinking and growing tall, the Mad Hatter's tea party, encounters with the wise caterpillar and the floating cat, and her relationships with both the good White Queen and the evil Red Queen. For the record, Helena Bonham Carter sneers as Red Queen; Anne Hathaway is sweet goodness as White Queen; Crispin Glover's head digitally sits atop a tall and evil knight called Stayne, Knave of Hearts; and Matt Lucas has his face morphed on the roly-poly, identical twins Tweedledee and Tweedledum. Para o registro, Helena Bonham Carter é a decapitadora Rainha Vermelha; Anne Hathaway é a bondade doce como Rainha Branca; que usa Alice para seus objetivos. Crispin Glover digitalmente senta-se sobre um cavaleiro alto e do mal chamado Stayne, p Valete de Copas, e Matt Lucas tem a sua cara transformada no poli, gêmeos idênticos Tweedledee e Tweedledum. O que mais virá a ver, fora da 3D, é o retrato de Johnny Depp, como o chapeleiro maluco, e  não vão ficar desapontados. Mention should be made that Alice in Wonderland is pretty heavy on beheadings and like violence, certainly too intense for younger kids.Convém mencionar que Alice no País das Maravilhas é bastante pesada em decapitações e como à violência, certamente muito intensa para as crianças mais novas. In days of yon, this PG rated film would surely have garnered at least a PG-13. Incidentally, the 3D is effectively used throughout Alice in Wonderland, but the pudding's plum occurs in the very last second of the film. Aliás, o 3 D é efetivamente usado em todo Alice no País das Maravilhas, mas o pudim de ameixa ocorre no último segundo do filme. While it doesn't qualify as a grand finale, it certainly outgrabes the mome raths. It may be sacrilege to compare Burton's Alice in Wonderland with The Wizard of Oz (1939), but there are distinct parallels.
